CWF Annual Report 2024

CWF's growing team of Rangers 2024
CWF's growing team of Rangers 2024

2024 was a year of building and consolidation for CWF. We increased our organisational capacity, which will enable us to take on a number of key initiatives and see us expand our areas of impact in 2025. Highlights from the year included our ranger selection course, which culminated in the inclusion of 5 additional rangers to our team, including 3 female rangers, a first for CWF. Our improved fitness regime also bore fruit as our Rangers came 26th overall in Africa, 5 minutes behind the Zimbabwe winners for the World Ranger Challenge.

We also established two nutritional gardens, both of which were initiated by the community and implemented by our team of Rangers. We welcomed our new Lead, Debra Ogilvie-Roodt, and Finance Operations Coordinator, Tamlyn Sutton to the team, and sadly said goodbye to Su Maberly, who had been with CWF since 2020. Su has played and instrumental role in CWF’s success over the last 5 years.
